Estonia´s Christmas Markets in Tallinn and Tartu are set to captivate with their festive charm.

The tradition, dating back to 1441 with the first Christmas tree in Tallinn’s Town Square, continues to be a centrepiece of the holiday celebrations.

In Tallinn’s medieval old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Christmas market runs from December 1st to January 7th, 2024. Visitors can explore over 100 stalls amid the cobblestone streets, offering traditional Estonian crafts, festive decorations, and delicacies like black pudding and sauerkraut. The market buzzes with live music and carolling, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
